Chile is known for its wine so we visited a winery. The wine was wonderful! The cheap stuff was even good. In restaurants I could get a glass of wine for the same price Yessy could get a bottle of coke.
We visited a beautiful small town in the wine valley of Chile.
Look, no unsightly telephone wires! (the magic of photo editing!)
In this picture, I wanted to catch a photo of the couple in western gear, so Yessy posed and pretended I was taking her picture.

This is what Chilean countryside looks like
This is the public bus we took to get to the winery. At every stop, on every bus, venders would get on and try to sell you stuff. Then they would get off at the next stop and get on another bus. This man was selling pens for about a dime. We joked that if we ever ran out of money, we could always jump on a bus and raise funds by selling our souveniers.
This is me at a public phone booth, phoning home to USA. Shortly thereafter, I flew home, and Yessy continued on travelling for four more weeks.
