In September, my friend James came to visit. We toured some of the downtown architecture and came upon the Bradbury Building. Photo credit www.greatbuildings.com The Bradbury Building has a secretly beautiful interior with a glass ceiling and cast iron work throughout. Check out www.greatbuildings.com /buildings/ Bradbury_Building.html We also went to Grand Central Market, a place that "assults the senses".

Grand Central Market has been at this location for 70 years. Some of the original owners still operate the stalls.  James at the market. We toured around three times before we could decide which ethnic food to eat for lunch. We ended up having Peruvian. James tried something he had never heard of before. Next we visited the Griffith Observatory The solar telescope is housed in this dome
