May 2002 Descansoe Gardens, Cinco De Mayo Mexican Festival, Manhattan Beach, Strawberry Festival, Bug Day at Natural History Museum.

In May we did many things. One of them was to celebrate Cinco de Mayo (fifth of May) Mexican celebration at the Mission in Solvang where the horse back riders performed their anual pilgrimage to the priest to get blessed. Also we tasted the sweetest strawberries ever at the strawberry festival. Finally we took Rafael to the Natural History Museum where they invited the children to bring in bugs or spiders that they had found in their home.
